Beth is the nation's leading expert on dog-friendly communities and what it actually takes to make that promise mean something.

She founded Wagtown in 2016 driven by a conviction that most communities were getting dog-friendliness wrong and that parks were ground zero.   Wagtown has amassed the largest research base on dog-friendly communities in the country.

Beth created the Dog Park Expert Curriculum in 2020, the only professional certification platform built specifically to improve dog parks and dog play experiences.

 

She is also an award-winning author whose work extends from park policy to animal welfare advocacy. Beth brings practitioners the rare combination of on-the-ground community experience, structured curriculum, and a no-nonsense framework for turning dog-friendly intentions into accountable, sustainable operations.
