A New Chapter, with Gratitude

Updated: Jan 11

Today, I’m thrilled to announce I will be taking the helm of BarkPass LLC (www.barkpass.com), an innovative software company that provides a modern tool for pet licensing and dog park management. For the full details, you can read the press release HERE. Over the next several months, I will be sharing quite a bit about my vision for the products, the company and the overall space. Since it’s the holiday season, I want to focus this post on gratitude.

The last six months have been an unexpected but deeply rewarding time to reflect on those aspects of my work which brings me joy. While I explored a wide range of opportunities, I realized I remain committed to bringing innovative software to the pet care space. BarkPass is now my third time leading an early-stage SaaS (Software as a Service) business. While I’m excited to bring my skills and experience to this unique product, I am so grateful to have so much support in ensuring the success of BarkPass.

I am so lucky to start this new adventure with a great product that already has so many happy clients. The founders, Josh and Bri Larson, are not only wonderfully talent people, but they’re also inspiring humans. I encourage you to read their story HERE. The foundation they’ve built sets up BarkPass as a best-in-class product, helping our communities proper.

Likewise, I’d be remiss in thanking all of all of my colleagues in animal welfare and pet tech spaces for your counsel in the last six months Your  ongoing trust, support and encouragement of me have been amazing. I’m humbled by all of you who champion me.

Lastly, I want to thank my family and friends. Transitioning from a comfortable corporate role back into entrepreneurship is both exciting and scary. This will truly be a team endeavor (more to come on that) and I know I am truly fortunate to have an extended group of people in my life who have my back!

I wish all of you a wonderful holiday season and look forward to our official relaunch in January as we build stronger communities for pets and their people.
