Resident Paid Processing Fees

We’ve added a new configuration option that allows municipalities to pass processing fees directly to residents during checkout.

What’s New 

You can now enable a setting per pass that shifts both Stripe credit card processing fees and BarkPass transaction fees to the resident. When enabled:

• Fees are automatically calculated and itemized at checkout.

• Residents see the total amount, including fees, before completing payment.

• Municipalities receive the full intended amount without absorbing processing costs.

How to Enable 

>Navigate to Pass Settings

>Select Price Setting

>Scroll down to “Processing Fees” checkbox and select to pass fees to residents.
